My life has done a complete turn around in the past month and I don’t even know how to explain it except to say its been incredibly painful.
Glenn and I separated 1 month ago.
Arwen and I are now living in a lovely little two bedroom house in Ohope where I can see the beach from my kitchen window. Arwen says she has a big sandpit called the beach.
Dannielle has decided to stay with her Dad, the dog and cat.
Its all very hard to explain and so personal. I like to think change is good and I know in this instance that for everyone this pain is helping us all change.
This weekend I am back at my old house staying with Dannielle as Glenn has gone to Auckland. It feels strange not like home anymore.
As I don’t have a land line yet or internet of course I guess I won’t update that often only when I visit friends with computers.
Next weekend I hope to go with Delys to a crop and it will be my first time scrapbooking in over 6 months which shows where my heads been.
Anyway enjoy the sunshine.

Its been awhile since I last posted and alot has happened and so this week I feel some She… quotes are needed as a form of therapy just for me.
She woke up one day and threw away all her excuses. Celebrate her accountability.

Is waiting for Christmas and why should there be presents under the tree that she can’t open. We had the Christmas parade last Saturday in town which was great bigger than last year but have to ask why no Jesus there, little miss even bought palm branches to wave(slight mix up with Palm Sunday and the word parade I am thinking)so next year must think about what could be done to fix that.
Haven’t blogged or scrapped now for about 2 months just have not felt like it.
Luke has been back from uni about 6 weeks now and got an A average for his first year we went out to dinner on Friday night to celebrate to a nice cafe in Ohope called the Quay. Poor Luke is pretty shattered just worked about 45 hours this week he is working at Blueberry corner picking strawberries, watering, weeding and packing blueberries. Yesterday he had his first surf at Ohope which he really needed as he tells me all he has been thinking about is work. He has a flat organised in Wellington in Northlands which he starts paying rent for in January. So will be looking fora part time job there round end of January.
My Mum has been visiting from Auckland I had not seen her for 6 months so enjoyed her visit wish she would move her. We shopped, had coffees and even saw a movie on Friday the Duchess really enjoyed it, she really enjoyed the ohope craft market yesterday before she left for home.
Dannielle has passed her NCEA level 1 but she is also working on completing some extra maths so she can get another stand alone certificate in Maths ,the incentive being a laptop(combinedchristmas and birthday as well).
And me well no scrappin but I have been doing a photography course since coming back from Wellington which I have really enjoyed. We have an exhibition of our work on the 17 December. I have also had some fun helping out one of Glenns clients who owns Country villa she makes the most devine biscotti, cookies and at the moment mini christmas cakes and gingerbread men.
Well thats it for me for today enjoy Sunday.

Feel a bit like my house is in chaos at the moment as a creature who needs routinue but would love to be laidback my life has been anything but that.
So whats been happening
Dannielle has been sick for the past week or so
Tash and family visited from Keri Keri and that was fab, friends, coffee, wine, shopping and for Arwen a second family.
Moving all the scrapbooking stuff out of Lukes room so Tash’s kids could stay in there plus I needed it to be ready for Luke.
Having to catch up on two weeks of office work.
Glenn’s stepdad John having a heart attack about 10 days ago in Whangarei. Thank goodness he is ok and we think he will get out of hospital tomorrow.
Trying to work out when Luke is coming back from Wellington his exams finish on Wednesday next week and he is ready to leave now…not…wants to come back. Looks like Mum is driving down now next week…waving hi to Janine….
Getting a job helping on the elections as an issuing officer great but training on labour weekend sucks.
A most beautiful wedding on a farm that we went to on the weekend.
Dannielle babysitting Arwen and now after chatting with big sis little sis wants to be a vegan too.
Phew lucky I had my hair coloured a few weeks ago.
Having lost 5.5 kilos hoping I don’t find it thanks to the most devine pavola at the wedding which was totally worth it.
And finally my good friend Jacs is coming to stay for two days all the way from Australia have not seen here since January…..
And so it all blends together to the point I have forgotten half of what happened and why I am so tired and drained.

Just a little scrapping in the holidays. The Beach layout I completed last night for the Celebrity challenge at Sketchbook. Really like the way it turned out.
The Time layout was for week 6 of the olympic challenge and I was surprised to get a highly commended for it. Pleased really as I had planned the layout and journaling around a photo of Dannielle but she changed her mind about me using the photo so it was a last minute rush to finish last Monday night.
Island Adventure was for week 5 of the olympic challenge fun using all those small photos makes feel like I am still there.
So enjoying my scrapbooking at the moment I think its because of the olympics and having to do a layout regularly.
Anyway its way to late to be up I have other bits of news but will leave that for later.

Well haven’t had the best of weeks as I have been battling this cold/flu thing normally not too much of a problem unless my asmtha is involved. So Friday saw me at the Doc’s came out with a big shopping list for the chemist antibiotics for an infection, steriods for the asmtha(double the amount I am normally given), hayfever tablets and nasel sprays. Feeling better but alot of that is the steriods which seem to give me a huge burst of energy then I crash at night.
Had a nice day today though Dannielle and I went shopping up at the Mount, Dannielle spent mega loads of cash on clothes of which she did really well on. It even inspired her enough to come home and clean her room ahem that means pick the old clothes of the floor…. Bought nothing for me which was kind of sad as I have a wedding to go to in 3 weeks and seriously nothing to wear. One would think with losing weight I could find something in my wardrobe and Dannielle is not the person to have with me shopping as I literally feel like I am too old to wear that or too big.
Sketchbook challenge for the week is outdoor/adventure layout and I have no idea what to do or even if I will do it this week. I would like to as I have never participated in something like this before and it would be a shame not too.
And last but not least two happy birthdays one to my good friend Tash(who knows if she even reads this, cough cough)who is nearly as old as I was when I met her….. And waving happy birthday to my good friend Jac’s who nows lives in Oz. Will have either coffee or cake to celebrate for you girls or maybe both…
PS Tash because you are such a good friend the temptation to put a photo of you on here was great but I resisted. And Jac’s because I know you would just love it I shall have to see what I can find tomorrow…

Well not a lot happening in my neck of the woods really Glenn and I have been sick with Flu/cold since the weekend so not feeling that great.
But have managed to catch up with the very busy Delys for a coffee and a orange and date scone from Colombus just love their coffee and the scones are the best.
Lost some more weight 4.7 in total now, as a serial dieter I think its all to do with choice. Looked long and hard at that cheesecake at Colombus and thought no its not worth it choose the scone. lol.
Now working weighing people in at weight watchers so that means I get paid for it and free meetings, what a way to stay motivated.
Dannielle my vegan daughter who doesn’t eat fruit and veges, yes crazy I know, has been eating them all week making soups and fruit smoothies. Hate the mess she makes but pleased she is now having these in her diet.
And thats it all very food orientated I’m afraid.

Had Fun with this weeks challenge, water themed and using a transparency
It was also great to get that photo scrapped something I have wanted to do for a while. Used some paper from my Tarisota kit the first kit I have had in well over a year. Bit of a funny story behind that talked to Glenn about ordering a kit for my birthday ordered it and then he said but I already got you a present. My lovely camera of course, then my kit had a few hiccups arriving and Tamar ended up throwing in some extra products. So really feeling very blessed this month.

Contentment think I need to check if thats even a word but anyway I digress.
Today I was walking Cleo and thinking about it being Wednesday and what the stand out moments of the week were and thought this moment in itself was good, it had been drizzling in the morning and then bucketed down with rain the sun was now out and I was enjoying watching Cleo running around the reserve and into the bush, just pretty much enjoying the sunshine and the sound of the tuis. And I realised it was just the little things that made my week that particular moment of peace out walking, a phone call from Luke, my faith in God and feeling more connected, Arwens prayer last night and the wonderful teaching moments that came with it. All pure and simple things.
